Alan Gillies kindly sent in the following pictures of the band for us
to see. His father was a piper in the band and he remembers going
to the band hut as a child with his father for band practice. The
pictures were taken around the 1950's. We hope you enjoy them

Peugeot Dealer Robins &
Day, Kempas Highway (Coventry) have
kindly helped the Pipe band out with a Peugeot 807 to use for
band engagements. New Car Sales Manager Peter Turner is
pictured above handing over the keys to piper Eddie McFadzean. The pipe band is extremely grateful to Robins & Day as this allows us to carry extra equipment and refreshments with us when undertaking Carnivals and Parades. |

Wanted - The pipe band is looking to
expand the existing Drum corps with experienced side, bass and tenor
drummers. All tuition equipment and uniforms are free. If

Jim Tudhope, Hon Life Pipe-Major of the Triumph RBL Pipe Band, was a finalist for the "teacher of the year" in the Coventry Evening Telegraph Pride of Coventry and Warwickshire Community Awards held on November 10th 2006 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. Well done Jim, keep up the good work!!! |
